Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian engineering and contracting company, announced that it has been awarded a major contract to implement an onshore gas pipeline project in the Middle East for a prestigious client. The value of the contract, according to the company’s classification, is estimated at between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 crore. Crore rupees, equivalent to between US$630 million and US$1.26 billion.
