The activities of the AIM Investment Summit were launched in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi today, with the participation of more than 100 ministers, city mayors, bank and central bank governors, 900 speakers, 11 global financial markets, 50 “unicorn” companies, 300 exhibitors, and more than 12,000 participants from 175 countries.
The summit activities will be held under the slogan: “Adapting to the Transformation of the Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials to Develop Global Economic Development,” and will continue from May 7 to 9.
In its current session, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the summit provides many opportunities for investors, businessmen and investment companies from around the world to communicate and learn about specialized investment projects in various fields through 450 dialogue sessions and 7 high-level round table meetings.
Participations in the AIM Investment Summit confirm the UAE’s leading position on the global investment map and the ease of doing business there, as a preferred investment destination for international investments looking for opportunities for sustainable growth, expansion and prosperity, in addition to being one of the largest investing countries around the world.
The summit includes many events, forums, dialogue sessions, and workshops within various main themes, most notably: the investment, innovation, technology, startups, and unicorns, the small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurship, and regional dialogue forums across continents and the future of finance. This provides a comprehensive platform to explore the future of global investment by reviewing the latest trends and innovations across various fields.
The summit activities will witness the organization of 27 side events in cooperation with a number of international bodies and organizations, and a number of new forums and events will be organized, most notably the “Coordination Meeting of the Investment Promotion Agencies of the G20 Countries,” which serves as an important platform for the investment promotion agencies of the G20 countries to align their strategies and shape an agenda. Collaborative and influential global investment promotion.
Through more than 450 main, interactive and dialogue sessions, the summit discusses the most prominent challenges and transformations facing the global investment scene, and the necessity of cooperation and unifying global efforts to come up with innovative solutions to confront current and future challenges and changes, leading to a prosperous and sustainable global economy.
