The Emirati company obtained the project with a production capacity of 100 megawatts in Gafsa, and the second project with a capacity of 200 megawatts in Tataouine, implemented by the French company Valtalia.

Tunisia announced the start of 5 projects to produce electricity from solar energy, with a production capacity of about 500 megawatts in five states: Tataouine, with a production capacity of 200 megawatts, Tozeur, with a production capacity of 50 megawatts, Sidi Bouzid, with a production capacity of 50 megawatts, Kairouan, with a production capacity of 100 megawatts, and Gafsa. With a capacity of 100 megawatts.

The project in Tataouine, Gafsa and Kairouan will contribute to reducing gas import expenses by the equivalent of 180 million dinars.
