The Russian Ministry of Finance revealed that Russia’s revenues from the sale of energy resources have increased to 5.7 trillion rubles, or about 64 billion dollars.
The Ministry reported that oil and gas revenues from January to June of this year increased by 68.5% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching about 5.7 trillion rubles.
The report indicated that the increase in revenues achieved by Russia in the first half of this year, which amounted to 700 billion rubles above previous expectations, is due to the rise in prices of Russian “Urals” oil and its sale at prices exceeding the upper limit set by the West at $60 per barrel.
