Abstract:
Niger is a country that has been distinguished as one of the countries in the world that has witnessed many coups in a short period of time. Since its independence from the French occupation in the early 1960s, and in less than half a century, the state of Niger has witnessed about eight coups, most of which succeeded in seizing power.
These coups are characterized by being influenced by the political, social and economic transformations that the country has witnessed over the years.
In this study, we will review some of the major military coups in the history of Niger.
The agency is interested in studies of energy security, and its political and geopolitical effects, as well as the effects of energy security on stability in the system and international peace.
