ADNOC Gas has awarded contracts worth AED 2 billion (equivalent to USD 550 million) to the National Marine Dredging Group and Galfar Engineering & Contracting to complete the expansion of the natural gas pipeline network in the United Arab Emirates.
Contracts were awarded to both the National Marine Dredging Group and Galfar Engineering & Contracting to complete the expansion of the natural gas pipeline network in the UAE.
These contracts contribute to strengthening a reliable infrastructure for the natural gas network in the country, facilitating the transportation of larger quantities of natural gas to customers across the UAE, and contributing to the provision of natural gas at affordable and sustainable prices.
Ahmed AlAbri, CEO of ADNOC Gas, said: “These new contracts are an important step in supporting the expansion of the natural gas pipeline network in the United Arab Emirates. We will continue to work with our partners to ensure the provision of reliable and reasonably priced natural gas to our customers across the country.”
ADNOC Gas is a leading global company in the field of natural gas processing and marketing, providing about 60% of the sales gas needs in the United Arab Emirates and offering its products to customers in more than 20 countries around the world.
On the other hand, ADNOC Gas announced the transfer of ownership of the “Sustainability” project to ADNOC. The project aims to increase the length of the natural gas pipeline network operated by the company from 3,200 kilometers to 3,500 kilometers. The project will allow the transportation of larger quantities of natural gas to customers in the northern Emirates.
