Egypt to host “EGYPES 2024” in February

November 28, 2023

Cairo will host the Egypt Energy Show “EGYPES 2024” with the slogan “Energy Stimulus: Securing Supplies, Energy Transition, and Reducing Emissions” from February 19–21, 2024.

Egypt Energy Show “EGYPES 2024” is the global dialog hub for Africa and the Mediterranean region.

According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the show will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, with the participation of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of both Egypt and Timor-Leste, in addition to the participation of more than 35,000 participants, 500 exhibiting companies, 300 speakers, 2,200 delegation members, 15 international pavilions, and 120 participating countries. It is planned that the total number of specialized sessions will reach more than 85.

The show will also be attended by CEOs and executives of leading national and international oil, gas, and energy companies.

A Multi-Faceted Program of Events centered on Sustainable Oil and Gas Production and Carbon Reduction will be part of “EGYPES 2024”.

For the first time, the show will host two new events: the African Dialogue Conference, a platform that brings together influential African decision-makers to address the challenges related to energy policies and how to exploit Africa’s abundant energy resources, as well as the Climate Technology Challenge Summit, in addition to the main events of the show.

“EGYPES” is a cornerstone of the energy ecosystem in Africa and the Mediterranean region due to its importance in promoting the regional energy market and all related investments and projects, including supporting the regional energy transition framework.

The show is also a destination for those who are interested in the oil industry regionally and globally.

It seeks to mitigate the effects of the challenges facing the energy sector as well as achieve a low-carbon future, reaching net zero emissions targets. The show enhances efforts to produce sustainable energy and strategies to reduce carbon emissions and methane gas.
