The Chairman of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Authority in “Jordan” participates in the “Future Energy 2024” Summit

Mr. Ziad Al-Saaida, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission of Jordan (EMRC), participated in the activities of the Sustainable Business Communication Program at the Global Future Energy Summit 2024, which was recently held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

During his participation in the program, Mr. Al Saaida held meetings with a number of officials and stakeholders in the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, in addition to representatives of companies working in the field of electric vehicles, decision makers and experts in the energy sector.

Mr. Al-Saaida stressed the importance of the Sustainable Business Communication Program in enhancing capabilities in the field of energy by exchanging experiences and knowledge, sharing the latest data, and learning about best practices and technologies to confront challenges and achieve a “safer and more sustainable” energy future.

Mr. Al-Saaida also highlighted the major achievements in the Jordanian energy sector, noting the importance of participating in this event, which aims to advance the sustainability agenda in the Middle East and North Africa region to provide a global platform for business, innovation, learning and knowledge exchange.

As part of their agenda, the Jordanian delegation was briefed on the latest technologies that support the green transition in various fields, most notably green hydrogen, energy storage, water analysis, artificial intelligence, climate resilience and environmental protection, and electric mobility.

Mr. Al-Saaida’s participation in the “World Future Energy Summit 2024” reflects Jordan’s commitment to strengthening the energy sector and achieving sustainability goals. It also highlights the importance of international cooperation in exchanging experiences and technologies to address energy challenges and achieve a safer and more sustainable future for all.
