The French government stated that Life Company has received financial support to build a factory aimed at producing green hydrogen, with a production capacity of about 100 megawatts. The factory is located in the Le Havre region. The company announced that this project has been planned for more than two years, as it was approved by the European Commission as part of Of the third wave of important projects attracting the attention of the European Union.
The government confirmed the financial support during the visit of the French Minister Delegate for Industry and Energy, Roland Lescure, to Le Havre to attend the seventh “Axe de Seine” meeting. Life intends to produce about 34 tons of green hydrogen per day near the Grand Canal du Havre. It is considered one of the largest industrial port areas in Europe.
The French government confirmed that the financial support provided by Life will make it the main player in the renewable hydrogen industry. Life has great confidence, knowledge and experience that has made it a leader and distinguished in the green hydrogen industry.
The project, which is located on a plot of land with an area of 2.8 hectares, is expected to begin production by 2028. The factory is located near the Yara factory in Le Havre. The roadmap includes a roadmap that aims to remove carbon and use green hydrogen as a clean fuel that does not pollute the environment.
