July 10, 2024

Larsen & Toubro, the giant Indian development and construction company, said that it achieved an important achievement by winning a huge contract to develop a solar energy project in a Middle Eastern country.

This deal is a huge step toward achieving sustainability and enhancing energy security in the region while opening new horizons for cooperation between India and the Middle East in the field of renewable energy.

Larsen & Toubro was able to win a contract to build two solar power plants with a total capacity of 3.5 GW in the Middle East, making it one of the largest solar energy projects in the region.

The value of the contract is $1.2 billion, which reflects the size of the huge investments in the field of renewable energy in the Middle East.

The project is expected to play an important role in increasing the share of renewable energy in the energy mix in the Middle East, which will contribute to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating the effects of climate change.

The new deal is an indication of India’s commitment to supporting sustainability goals in the Middle East and opens new horizons for cooperation between the two countries in the field of renewable energy and the exchange of experiences.

The new deal strengthens Larsen & Toubro’s position as a major player in renewable energy globally.
