“Masirah Oil” begins an intensive drilling program in Block 50 off the coast of “Oman”

Masirah Oil has begun an ambitious drilling program in Block 50 off the coast of the Sultanate of Oman, aiming to increase production and enhance oil reserves.

This program comes after Rex International, which owns Masirah Company, recently leased a drilling rig. To implement its plans to increase the number of production and exploratory wells in the square.

The program contributes to enhancing oil and gas reserves in the Sultanate of Oman. The program supports the development of local added value programmes, and is part of an ambitious strategy to ensure the development of a green hydrogen economy in Oman.

It is worth noting that Masirah Oil Company is located in the Sultanate of Oman, and owns 100% of the Block 50 concession rights, while Rex International in Singapore owns 91.81% of Masirah.
