The activities of the 31st session of the “Middle East Oil and Gas Conference”, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai, and hosted by the ENOC Group and organized by S&P Global Commodity Insights, began at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai Centre. The conference highlights the importance of achieving a balance between reliance on traditional energy resources and renewable energy, with a focus on enhancing energy security and global oil and gas flows and trades in light of the current geopolitical challenges.

The current edition of the conference allocates three training courses presented by sector experts, aiming to support progress in the energy sector and provide the knowledge and tools necessary to meet the challenges.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, stressed the conference’s role as a leading global platform to attract sector experts for an in-depth dialogue on the most prominent trends, issues and solutions in the field of energy.

The conference aims to stimulate dialogue, innovation and progress in light of the rapid dynamic transformations that the energy sector is going through.

Discussions and topics focus on the future of sustainable energy, including: energy sustainability in aviation and maritime navigation, improving refineries and supply chains, investments in chemical industries, and the role of gas and hydrogen in the future of energy.

More than 400 people from around the world are participating in the conference, including: major traders, oil and gas companies, national oil companies, refineries, representatives of banks and financial markets, entities working in the field of renewable energy, supply and service companies related to the oil and gas sector, and others.
