“Ukraine” suffers “Russia” heavy losses after its attacks on oil refineries

March 21, 2024

Statistics showed that Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries, of which there have been nine successful attacks since the beginning of 2024, led to losses in Russia's ability to produce energy by 11%.

The length of the Russian refineries targeted by Ukraine reached 2,000 kilometers, which would negatively affect Russia’s position in the war. Russia relies on these refineries, whether to supply aircraft or sell oil and use its revenues to finance military forces.

Ukraine began these attacks only several weeks after it established the “Unmanned Systems Forces,” which mainly use drones. The effectiveness of these drones is demonstrated by the fact that they forced Russia in mid-February to suspend its gasoline exports from the beginning of March until the end of August, knowing that in In mid-February, Ukraine had attacked only 5 Russian refineries.

The head of the Ukrainian Security Service, Vasyl Malyuk, said that these attacks will not only be limited to confronting Russia, but will take on an offensive nature within Russian lands and seas.
