Abstract: Population growth and global economic activity have led to an acceleration in energy demand in the past decades. Coal, oil and natural gas were the main sources for meeting most of the world's energy needs, amounting to more than three-quarters of the total global energy consumption.
However, excessive reliance on fossil fuels has led to widespread environmental damage, such as an increase in greenhouse gases, and has formed what is known as the phenomenon of “global warming,” and the turbulent climate changes that accompany it, the effects of which have been seen in some parts of the world. m during recent years;
Accordingly, the need arose to eliminate dependence on fossil fuels and invest in alternative sources of energy that are clean, available and sustainable.
